The rich collection of academic degree certificates held by the Historical Archive of the University of Bologna is particularly important for the history of an institution that spans over nine centuries. Thanks to digital reproductions of documents and the wealth of information related to them, the Archive’s website page entitled “Diplomi e privilegi” (“Degree certificates and privileges”) is a valuable support to History of Universities scholars and also to researchers of other disciplines, such as Diplomatics and Codicology.
