Acea, la memoria recuperata. L’archivio storico e il museo immersivo come strumenti per la tutela e la valorizzazione di un secolo di patrimonio culturale aziendale

Acea’s historical archive tells about the growth of the Group, born Electrical Municipal Company in 1909, and a century of history of Italy, and Rome in particular, from the beginning of the 1900s to the present day. Today Acea has become a multiutility that operates in different sectors: water, energy, and waste treatment. Acea’s historical archive holds a rich cultural heritage, unknown to the public until recent. In the last few years, in fact, this heritage has been recovered and, thanks to digitisation, it is now mostly available for free, through a virtual museum, launched in September 2021.
