Open science: il nuovo paradigma della ricerca
The contribution proposes a definition of open science, a new research paradigm: a new way of doing research, the principles of which need to be known and understood, including through the laws of the European legislature. In the semantic nebula that envelops the open world, the article proposes a definition of the context in which open science is: in fact, there is - even in official sites, of research institutions or publishers - a certain semantic overlap between open science, open data and open access; this confusion highlights how it is still necessary - even twenty years after the birth of the open access movement - a widespread action of education and awareness. These phenomena are complex and closely related to research evaluation mechanisms.
