Rome Technopole for the Digitization of Montecassino Manuscripts

Among the activities planned by Innovation Ecosystem - Rome Technopole, financed by the EU-Next Generation EU Plan, is the project MeMo. Memory of Montecassino, started by Laboratorio LIBeR of the University of Cassino and Lazio meridionale, a partner of the Rome Technopole Foundation. The article, after reconstructing the institutional context that allowed the birth of the Innovation Ecosystem and describing its articulation, focuses on the progress of the MeMo Project, highlighting the technological implementation, the testing of procedures, formats and processes related to the digitization of the Montecassino codex, in a context of collaboration with the business world, with the aim of technology transfer to businesses, public administrations and companies.
