Abstract

«Près de 58 000 oeuvres constituent la Collection du Centre Pompidou/Musée national d’art moderne. Elle couvre tout le XXème siècle à travers la plupart des artistes plasticiens et des concepteurs (architectes et designers) qui ont marqué de leurs ouvrages, travaux et productions, la création foisonnante de ces cent dernières années. La “Collection du Musée en ligne”, destinée au grand public, a été élaborée à partir de la base de données documentaire du Musée, instrument de travail quotidien des conservateurs et de leurs équipes. Elle permet de
visualiser  les  descriptifs  et  les  reproductions  de  toutes  les  références  de  la Collection, d’opérer des recherches approfondies selon différents critères (date de création de l’oeuvre, support...) et de se constituer des dossiers».
Ce court texte de présentation de la collection en ligne du Musée national d’art moderne – Centre de création industrielle (Mnam/Cci) figure sur la page de présentation  des  différents  catalogues  en  ligne accessibles sur le site internet du Centre Pompidou.
