The contribution retraces the phases that led to the creation of the back-end systemcalled MOL Liturgica, designed for the analytical cataloging of liturgical manuscripts, primarily calendars and missals. It also presents the theoretical considerations and challenges encountered during the process, and concludes by illustrating the main features of the application.
