Abstract
Il 18 e 19 giugno 2012 si è svolto, nell’Aula Magna dell’Università di Firenze, il seminario Global Interoperability and Linked Data in Libraries, promosso da Università di Firenze, Istituto centrale per il catalogo unico delle biblioteche italiane e per le informazioni bibliografiche (ICCU), Biblioteca nazionale centrale di Firenze (BNCF), Casalini Libri, Comune diFirenze, Conferenza dei rettori delle università italiane (CRUI), Associazione italiana biblioteche (AIB), Istituto di teoria e tecniche dell’informazione giuridica del Consiglio nazionale
delle ricerche (ITTIG-CNR), Fondazione Rinascimento digitale, Associazione italiana editori (AIE), in collaborazione con la rivista JLIS.it (www.jlis.it), che ha pubblicato in anteprima testi e slide delle presentazioni e che pubblicherà, nel secondo fascicolo del 2012, in uscita a dicembre, gli atti del seminario, in versione online (con testi in italiano e inglese) e in versione cartacea (con testi in inglese per gli stranieri, in italiano per gli italiani; scelta dovuta alla necessità economica di contenere
il fascicolo entro le 350 pagine).
