La Conferenza, organizzata dal Manuscript Librarians Expert Group di LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européenne de Recherche) è stata ospitata dalla Biblioteca nazionale centrale di Roma. Il Gruppo, formatosi a Stoccolma nel 2000 con lo scopo di fornire ai bibliotecari conservatori di manoscritti uno spazio dedicato dove scambiarsi informazioni ed esperienze relative alle problematiche della conservazione, tutela e valorizzazione del patrimonio manoscritto ad essi affidato, era ormai al suo quarto appuntamento, che ha visto riuniti più di 80 colleghi ed esperti del settore provenienti da tutta Europa.Downloads
