Reuse, in the era of EOSC and Horizon Europe, means FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data and services, which are EOSC building blocks. In the acronym, we focus on Reuse, to unblock the potential of research data to foster innovation and progress and to adopt the interdisciplinary approach needed to address global challenges, as COVID19 clearly showed: if we share, we progress. We shall see the value of data reuse for science, for researchers, for society, for funders, in the framework of Open Science and its principle “as open as possible” coupled with the recent Open data Directive. We shall discuss the role of data stewards, needed to support researchers in managing “FAIR by design” data and in making Open Science “the new normal”.
