Over the years BeWeB has been becoming an important content aggregator providing access to the vast catalogued cultural heritage of Italian dioceses and ecclesiastical cultural institutions. The portal includes virtual exhibitions and insights created with the aim of offering any visitor a richer experience. Context and meanings are therefore explained in detail. Lately BeWeB is broadening its narrative horizons to offer services that facilitate the development of content-creative communities connected within a spatial and digital network promoting social cohesion, inclusion and visual literacy. Moreover, it is experimenting with Artificial Intelligence solutions to develop increasingly personalized and efficient recommendation systems.
